Where do I buy my art supplies in Philadelphia? At Blicks on 13th and Chestnut.
I usually buy online, but was crazed for the best Chinese Duck House in Philadelphia, Sang Kee, at 238 9th Street (the very tip of Chinatown), AND I wanted to look at some new supports in person that I'm trying out before ordering in quantity.
And here I see Thomas Eakins' studio was on that very spot. I must have missed that plaque previously, but I hope Eakins' spirit will make for some good painting for me!
