Okay, it's a 2 legged animal!

And it wasn't that long ago he was on "all fours"! :D

I'm practicing human portraiture. I get a lot of requests for them, but was always so busy with the animals, I didn't put in time practicing the human animals! But, as you can imagine, the economy has given me the ummm....time/opportunity...to practice more!

I can see some errors, but I'm pretty pleased with it, too. It's colored pencil on colorfix sanded paper. I like the paper, you can put light colors right over darks and vice versa.

Not much of a background, but it was a practice piece. My model is from the WetCanvas! site's reference library and is copyright free for me to use.
